Who is responsible for your data

What we collect and why

We only collect the data you choose to send us, and the minimum technical data needed to run the website securely.

• Contact form: your name, email address, company (optional), the topic or product you ask about and your message. We use them to reply to your enquiry and, where it leads there, to discuss a possible engagement. Legal basis: steps at your request before entering into a contract, and our legitimate interest in answering business enquiries.
• Job applications: your name, email address, the position, your LinkedIn or portfolio link (optional), your message and your CV. We use them only to assess your application and contact you about it. Legal basis: your consent, given in the form, and steps at your request before entering into an employment contract.
• Booking a call: your name, email address, company (optional), what you are building (optional) and the time you choose. We pass them to Microsoft Bookings, a service of Microsoft, which schedules the call and sends the Microsoft Teams invitation. Legal basis: steps at your request before entering into a contract.
• Technical data: when you visit the website, our server receives your IP address, the page requested, the date and time and your browser type. We use this to deliver the website, to keep it secure and to limit abuse of the forms. Legal basis: our legitimate interest in operating a secure website.

Do you have to give us your data?

No. Sharing your details is voluntary, but without a name and email address we cannot reply to your enquiry or book a call, and without a CV we cannot assess a job application.

We do not make decisions about you by automated means alone.

Cookies and analytics

With your consent, we use Google Analytics, a service of Google Ireland Limited, to understand how visitors find and use this website: which pages are visited and for how long, how visitors arrived, and their type of device, browser and approximate location (country or city). Google Analytics sets cookies (_ga and _ga_ followed by an ID) that keep a random identifier for up to 2 years; it does not store your IP address. We do not use Google Analytics for advertising. Legal basis: your consent.

Google Analytics loads only after you choose Accept in the cookie notice. If you choose Reject, no analytics cookies are set. You can change your choice at any time under Cookie settings at the bottom of every page; withdrawing consent removes the analytics cookies.

Your choice itself is remembered in your browser's local storage, so the notice does not appear on every page. This is needed for the notice to work and does not identify you. We do not use advertising or other tracking cookies.

If our booking calendar is unavailable and you book on the Microsoft Bookings page instead, that page may set its own cookies, governed by Microsoft's privacy statement.

Who we share your data with

We do not sell your personal data. We share it only with service providers that help us run the website and reply to you, and only as far as needed:

• our hosting provider, Hetzner Online GmbH, which runs the website's servers in Germany;
• our email provider, Hetzner Online GmbH (Germany), which delivers the messages and applications sent through the forms;
• Microsoft, for call bookings and Microsoft Teams calls;
• Google Ireland Limited, for website analytics, only if you accept analytics cookies.

International transfers

Inform Technologies works from Novi Sad, Serbia, and Chicago, USA. Where your data is accessed from or stored outside the European Economic Area or Serbia, we rely on appropriate safeguards, such as the European Commission's standard contractual clauses or an adequacy decision. Google and Microsoft may process data in the USA; both are certified under the EU-U.S. Data Privacy Framework.

How long we keep your data

• Enquiries: for as long as needed to handle your enquiry and any resulting business relationship, and no longer than 24 months after our last contact.
• Job applications: for 12 months after the application, so we can consider you for other suitable roles, unless you ask us to delete it sooner.
• Server logs: for no longer than 30 days, unless needed to investigate a security incident.
• Analytics: Google Analytics keeps the data for 14 months after your last visit, after which it is deleted automatically.

How we protect your data

Our information security and privacy management are certified to ISO/IEC 27001 and ISO/IEC 27701. The website is served over an encrypted connection (HTTPS), and access to the data you send us is limited to the people who need it to reply to you.

Your rights

You have the right to ask for access to your personal data, for its correction or deletion, to restrict or object to its processing, and to receive it in a portable format. Where we rely on your consent, you can withdraw it at any time, without affecting what was done before.

To use any of these rights, write to office@inform-technologies.com. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the Commissioner for Information of Public Importance and Personal Data Protection of the Republic of Serbia, or with the data protection authority in the EU country where you live.
