The full story
The problem
Buying, selling and renting property usually means one site for listings and phone calls, email and messengers for everything else. immoLAB wanted both in one mobile app: listings that people can like, share and comment on, and talk about in private chat.
The app had to serve all of them, from a guest who only browses to an agency that needs reports.
What we built
We built a mobile app with two levels of access. Guests browse listings for sale or rent, in a list or on a map; registered users post their own properties with photos, descriptions and prices, and like, share, bookmark and comment on others. Private chat keeps the conversation next to the listing.
Next to it is an admin web app for agencies. It gives a full overview of the platform, tracks posts and turns activity into reports: which properties are searched most, and how people engage with them through likes, bookmarks and shares.
- Listings with a social layer
- Users like, share, bookmark and comment on properties, and talk to each other in private chat.
- Search on the map
- Properties for sale or rent are shown where they are, so people can look by neighborhood instead of scrolling a list.
- Subscription plans for sellers
- The chosen plan sets how long a seller's or landlord's listing stays live.
- Admin web app for agencies
- Reports on the most searched properties and on likes, bookmarks and shares.
What changed
- Listings people talk about
- Interest, questions and negotiation happen in the app, not across separate channels.
- A wider audience for sellers
- Every like and share carries a listing beyond the people who searched for it.
- Agencies see what works
- Search and engagement data shows which properties draw attention.
