At a glance
The problem
Delivery orders arrived as messages that staff had to read, plan and pass on by hand, which left room for errors, delays and bags that went missing a second time.
What we owned
- Web platform development
- Mobile app for drivers
- Integration with airline messaging
- Invoicing
What we built
- 01Orders from airline messages
- 02Tour planning on a map
- 03Driver app with proof of delivery
- 04Invoicing per airline
What changed
- No orders typed twice
- Every bag accounted for
- Billing that matches the work
The full story
The problem
When a bag misses its flight, the passenger goes home without it and someone has to bring it to them. For an airport ground handler, that means delivery orders from many airlines, a fleet of drivers and a passenger waiting for news.
The handler needed one system for the whole journey, from the order to the passenger's signature.

What we built
Delivery orders from the airlines land in the platform's mail box and become orders automatically. Dispatchers group them into tours by area and time, drag each tour to a driver and vehicle, and follow the routes on a map.
Drivers work from a mobile app on rugged devices: they see their assignments, check each bag against the order, navigate to the address and collect the passenger's signature on delivery. Every delivered bag feeds invoicing, so each airline is billed for what was delivered.
- Orders from airline messages
- Bag delivery orders are read from incoming messages instead of being typed in again.
- Tour planning on a map
- Dispatchers build tours, assign drivers and vehicles, and see every stop on the map.
- Driver app with proof of delivery
- Assignments, bag check, navigation and the passenger's signature, step by step.
- Invoicing per airline
- Delivered orders turn into invoices for each airline and invoice recipient.

What changed
- No orders typed twice
- Orders come straight from the airline messages, which removes a step where errors crept in.
- Every bag accounted for
- Each delivery is tracked from the order to the passenger's signature.
- Billing that matches the work
- Invoices are built from delivered orders, not from separate records.
